Two cats

You Can Make a Difference

Explore the Ways You Can Get Involved

The Clarion Cat Initiative Group is powered entirely by volunteers and community support. Every trapped cat, every surgery, and every successful TNR effort happens because neighbors choose to help create humane solutions for cats and our community.

Whether you can give your time, resources, or simply help spread awareness, there is a place for everyone to get involved

Ways to Help

Choose the Kind of Support that Fits you Best

Every contribution matters. Whether you can donate time, supplies, financial support, or simply help spread the word, there is a meaningful way to strengthen humane community cat work in Clarion.

DONATE

Donate Financially

Financial donations directly support our Trap-Neuter-Return efforts and allow us to help more cats and communities.

Donations help cover:

  • Spay and neuter surgeries
  • Rabies vaccinations
  • Medical care when needed
  • Traps and humane equipment
  • Food and other supplies

Every contribution helps prevent future litters and improves the health and safety of both cats and neighborhoods.

Provide

Provide Supplies

We rely on essential supplies to safely trap, transport, and care for cats during the TNR process.

Commonly needed items:

  • Wet and dry cat food
  • Paper towels
  • Disposable gloves
  • Puppy pads
  • Small paper plates
  • Towels or small blankets (gently used is okay)
  • Large trash bags
  • Laundry detergent (unscented preferred)
  • Humane traps
  • Storage bins with lids

If you’re unsure whether an item is helpful, feel free to contact us before donating. Contact us to donate!

Volunteer

Volunteer with Us

Volunteers are the heart of our work. You don’t need prior experience — we provide guidance and support.

Volunteers help with:

  • Humane trapping
  • Transporting cats to and from vet appointments
  • Outreach and community education
  • Administrative or behind-the-scenes support
  • Event and awareness activities

Even a few hours of help can make a meaningful difference.

Educate

Support Humane Solutions

You can help even if you’re unable to volunteer or donate.

Sharing accurate information about community cats and humane solutions helps reduce misunderstandings and builds support for long-term change.

You can help by:

  • Sharing our resources on social media
  • Talking with neighbors about TNR
  • Connecting us with community partners
  • Encouraging humane solutions in local conversations

Small actions help create lasting impact.
